Goals for 2026
I’ve been thinking a lot about what I want to do going forward. Put simply, I believe I can do more. The last few years have been successful, but I know my potential hasn’t been fully reached, and I want to be deliberate about closing that gap.
The main things I want to work toward in 2026 and beyond:
- Continue research in reinforcement learning, with the goal of contributing to a paper or workshop-level publication.
- Move to London full-time and work in an industry research lab.
- Build consumer-facing hardware systems, probably in sports technology.
- Train for and complete an Ironman.
Longer term, I want to understand how humans will interact with technology at a fundamental level. I suspect this will increasingly happen at the perceptual layer, with AR glasses as a primary interface.
I want to start by exploring this in the context of endurance sports—building AI-assisted running systems where real-time, continuous feedback is central to performance—and take it from there.
